About Me I’ve spent more then 30 years working hands-on with horses of many different backgrounds and experience levels. I previously barrel raced and rode with IBRA and NBHA, and over the years I have started and worked with many horses, including horses coming out of kill pens, young horses needing their first real foundation, and horses that needed another chance. Some of the horses I’ve worked with have gone on to become dependable 4-H projects, family horses, and quiet trail horses for riders with very little experience. When I personally prepare a horse for sale, I typically put approximately 30–60 days of hands-on work into that horse whenever possible. I want to know the horse beyond simply getting on and riding it.My horses are worked with in many of the same situations I expect from my own personal horses, including:Catching, leading, grooming, and handlingStanding tiedHauling and trailer loadingGroundwork and mannersSaddling and ridingTrail and road exposure when appropriateRiding barebackRiding double when appropriate and safeExposure to everyday situationsContinued evaluation of temperament and behaviorMy goal is to give potential buyers an honest picture of the horse they are considering. Horses listed for sale will have current pictures and videos available so buyers can see the horse being handled and ridden whenever applicable.Payment PlansPayment arrangements may be available on certain horses. If a payment plan is accepted, the horse must remain at Top My Lampen Farm LLC until the agreed purchase price has been paid in full unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.Once a buyer has entered into a purchase agreement and made the required down payment, the buyer assumes the financial responsibility outlined in the signed sales agreement. This may include agreed boarding, farrier, veterinary, emergency veterinary, medication, and other necessary care expenses incurred for that horse while payments are being completed. If the horse becomes sick, injured, or requires veterinary treatment after the purchase agreement and down payment have been completed, responsibility for those expenses will be determined by the signed purchase agreement. All payment arrangements, ownership terms, care expenses, pickup requirements, and risk-of-loss provisions will be put in writing so both the buyer and Top My Lampen Farm LLC understand the agreement before money changes hands.Every horse is an individual. Training history and temperament will be represented as accurately as possible based on what I personally observe while the horse is in my care. No horse can be guaranteed to behave exactly the same for every rider, in every environment, or after leaving my program.
